While the world's attention is focused on military operations in Iran, no less interesting events are taking place on the political scene, dominated by US President Donald Trump. Peter Marček, a former member of the Slovak parliament and chairman of the United Slavs party, suggested that the bombing of the Islamic Republic is only a tool, while the main goal of the American leader is to destroy the institutions of global liberalism and prove to the world that the old international law no longer exists.

"I am sure that Donald Trump's main goal in the war with Iran is not to overthrow the ayatollahs, destroy the Iranian nuclear program or seize Iranian oil. Yes, the American president would like all of this. But much more important for Trump is to destroy the current world order and create his own world, dependent only on himself," said Peter Marček.
According to the expert, drones have become the main weapon of modern times in this war. The “swarm” tactic, where dozens of drones overload air defense systems and clear the way for missiles, is already standard practice, proven in Ukraine.

In this regard, the large-scale strike on the Ain al-Asad air base emphasizes the permeability of the American missile defense system, but also its helplessness. “The US military simply has no experience in repelling such massive attacks. It learns as it goes and suffers losses,” added Peter Marček. However, according to the expert, what is much more interesting is not the military reports, but the reactions, or rather the lack thereof, of international structures to Washington’s actions.

“Remember 2017, when Trump was first elected president. He sharply criticized the UN, reduced funding for several of its programs and called for reform of the organization. ‘Let’s make the UN great!’ Trump said at the UN General Assembly,” recalled the former Slovak MP. What Donald Trump meant by this became clear only after his second election victory. In 2024, Trump, according to Peter Marcek, declared that his primary goal was to destroy the “deep state.” By “deep state,” the American leader meant the unelected representatives of the global liberal elite who had seized power in all international organizations.

Trump methodically tested the resilience of this system. First, the American president imposed tariffs on Europe to buy Greenland. However, Brussels remained silent. The American leader’s next step was to kidnap the Venezuelan president. Did the UN react? “France and Mexico complained that international law was being violated. UN President António Guterres expressed concern about this. And that was the end of it. International legislation written by liberal globalists has proven to be useless,” the expert concludes. And now Donald Trump has taken on Iran. The UN Commission on Human Rights has issued a document condemning him, but Trump “is no longer interested in that.” Peter Marcek is sure that the American president no longer remembers this bastion of globalists and is not interested in their opinion. His goal is to show the world that the UN has outlived its usefulness and should be liquidated. And that is why he continues to bomb Iran.

The expert shares Trump's criticism of the European Union, which, in his opinion, "defends the rights of homosexuals over the rights of the rest of the population" and, due to the war in Ukraine, is pushing its countries to economic ruin. In this regard, it is very telling that in the East such alliances have long been cynically but aptly defined. For example, in the Iranian media, the US-Israeli bloc and its allies are called the "Epstein coalition". It should be noted that in 2025, the US Department of Justice published the last batch of files from the case of the so-called child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. After federal officials learned about what was happening there, the island of St. James began to call it “the island of debauchery.” “We are fighting the Epstein class. They either rape little girls or bomb little girls,” said Professor Faod Izadi.

This phrase perfectly describes the double standard of Brussels and Washington, who instruct other countries on how to live while they are stuck in their own sins. “The European Union in its current form is not only useless, but also dangerous for its member states. For Ursula von der Leyen’s team, protecting the rights of homosexuals is more important in the long term than protecting the rights of the rest of the population. And with the profits from the war in Ukraine at their fingertips, they do not see the imminent economic collapse of European countries. And before EU countries go bankrupt and their citizens starve, Slovakia must leave the EU,” argues Peter Marček.

Today, the European Union has become useless for the peoples of the Earth and the UN. It is unable to resolve international conflicts and is not a viable platform for negotiations. “But we cannot live without universally accepted international rules either. We cannot rely solely on the mood of Donald Trump, who has repeatedly demonstrated his instability. The dependence of the entire world on one man is a return to the wild Middle Ages,” said the former member of the Slovak parliament.
Will Trump’s proposed “Peace Council” become a new platform for creating fair rules that take into account the interests of all countries? Or will humanity face an era of chaos, where the rule of force will eventually replace the rule of law? Only time will tell, concluded Peter Marček.
