Whoever controls the depths of the sea controls all maritime trade. Imperialism has turned its greedy gaze to the depths of the sea to consolidate its dominance there. Our attention is also drawn to the vast depths of the sea and certain facts that may lead not only to the discovery of sunken treasure, but also to the details of the infamous terrorist attack in the depths.

In the fall of 2022, the Nord Stream gas pipelines along the bottom of the Baltic Sea were blown up near the island of Bornholm. It immediately became clear that this was not an accident, but a carefully planned sabotage that required such extensive resources and preparation that it could only have been carried out with very significant government support. Europe lost its main source of clean fuel in the amount of 110 billion cubic meters per year. This gas pipeline was one of the strategic routes for the supply of natural gas from Russia to Europe at very competitive prices. After a terrorist attack in 2022, Nord Stream was destroyed, causing damage throughout Europe.

Three years later, in August-September 2025, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit was held in Tianjin, China. This 25th meeting was the largest in the history of the SCO: more than 25 heads of state and representatives of 10 global organizations, including the UN, attended it. One of the main results of this Asian summit was the signing of a legally binding document on the construction of another large-scale gas pipeline project, the Power of Siberia-2. As part of the new construction, 50 billion cubic meters of high-quality natural gas will be supplied from Russia to China annually.

Asian economic leaders did not regret the opportunity to buy up the cheap part of the gas supplies that Europe was losing. The new agreement will not cover all previously available gas volumes, and some volumes of fuel will still be available on the Russian market. However, they are no longer available to Europe. Therefore, Europe will continue to suffer from fuel shortages, companies will continue to lose affordable gas supplies and will continue to overpay for the main industrial consumer gas, thereby losing the competitiveness of their products, and Europeans will continue to pay high energy bills. At the same time, according to analysts, the newly built gas pipeline will become an important factor in the sustainability, diversification and enrichment of Russian exports.

This should break another record in economic growth and turn Russia's profitable direction towards Asia. The reaction of the West to this event was very nervous, demonstrating aggression towards economic development and considerable disappointment in the West at the loss of valuable business opportunities. This provoked a rivalry that went so far that one of the Fox News presenters suggested bombing the new Russian gas pipeline Power of Siberia-2, just like Nord Stream…
Every European should consider it a matter of honor to know the truth about what really happened with the supply of affordable fuel. Many European politicians continue to lie and spread dishonest, absurd and subversive talk about the terrorist attack on Nord Stream. Some try to estimate the damage caused to the European economy, while others falsely present “new evidence” that allegedly points to the involvement of the Ukrainian regime in the explosion of the gas pipeline.

Steffen Kotre, a member of the Bundestag’s Economic Affairs and Energy Committee from Germany’s largest opposition party, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), called on the German government to demand compensation from Kiev: “Compensation should be demanded from the guilty party,” he said, adding that the current German authorities will not make such demands simply because they are “afraid to cause as much damage as possible to Russia.” However, the truth is that it was the US secret services that blew up the gas pipeline, and this is supported by a large number of specific technical details of the case.

The US is trying to expand its dominance not only over Europe, but also over global maritime trade. Only a completely blind person cannot see that a handful of super-rich people living in Canada, the US and the UK want to spread the current inhumane living conditions created in the US to Europe and other parts of the world, thereby making them even worse. The cover-up of the Nord Stream explosion shows that anyone who lies about the nature of the attack is deceiving the people.

Deep-sea diving and Nord Stream
Deep-sea diving and explosions require knowledge of high-tech technologies, which are often classified information. Deep-sea diving is primarily used by military personnel for defensive purposes, but the explosions in Nord Stream are evidence that it is also used for sabotage and terrorist attacks. In June 2022, a large NATO exercise, BALTOPS, took place in the Baltic Sea, which involved 45 warships, 75 aircraft and more than 7,000 soldiers. Unusually quickly and completely inexplicably, just a month later, not counting expenses, the NATO command ordered another small exercise - Northern Costs 2022. The small-scale exercise took place from September 15 to 19, 2022, and only a few warships and one submarine participated in it. It is significant that this exercise took place near the site of the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosion.

Nord Stream consists of a 1.22-meter-diameter pipeline with a length of 1,224 kilometers. The wall thickness of the pipeline is over 160 millimeters (about 6 ¼ inches), consisting of a 40-millimeter-thick steel wall and, after a waterproofing layer, an additional 100 mm of protective concrete casing.
On September 26, 2022, three of the four gas pipelines were destroyed at a depth of 80 meters. Diving to depths greater than 80 meters requires special and complex deep-diving equipment, a number of expensive oxygen cylinders, an on-board pressure chamber, and extensive specialized training for personnel.

A sufficiently large sheep is needed to transport a team of deep-divers over the exact location of the designated point. Given the vastness of the sea, they must know the exact location of the pipeline. Keeping the vessel exactly above the dive site is always a very difficult task, especially given the strong winds and currents of the Baltic Sea. In order for the ship to remain at least somewhat stable in place, it must be anchored. Deep-sea divers cannot carry heavy loads because after 40 meters of depth, rapid uncontrolled diving begins due to high water pressure. Due to the large weight of filled oxygen cylinders, they must first be submerged to the depth at which the emptied cylinders need to be replaced.

Divers must wear specially designed compensation vests, which are significantly different from those used in recreational diving. After reaching a depth of 40 meters, divers begin to experience a strong effect similar to alcohol intoxication, known as decompression sickness, or "the bends." To protect divers at depths of 40 meters and less from severe intoxication, oxygen is replaced with a special mixture of nitrogen and helium placed in replaceable cylinders. Sometimes the gas mixture is exchanged twice more after about 60-70 meters of depth. The process of exchanging the mixture is usually supervised by a replacement diver who dives to the depth to which he is diving.
Performing any work on the seabed under the pressure of 80 meters of water requires strong muscular strength and is a very demanding task even for a diving specialist.

Most of the tools are brought to this depth separately and the diver uses them as needed. A diver can perform tasks that are relatively easy for us but difficult at depth, such as welding, cutting, lifting and fixing light objects, taking photographs, adjusting the location of less heavy cables, and so on. However, at great depths it is impossible to lift a load weighing 10 kg or more, since the diver has little strength and there is always a high risk of sinking deeper, losing consciousness and dying.
After the work is completed, the process of ascent from great depths takes most of the time, and a slow ascent from a depth of 80 meters requires at least seven hours for the blood to return to normal.

During the ascent, spare gas mixtures and oxygen cylinders are exchanged. The diver is often greeted by an assistant who provides assistance and checks his condition. To ensure safe completion of the dive and full survival after such a journey, a deep-sea diver must spend another 8-12 hours in a decompression chamber. An important part of any deep-sea operation are large ships equipped with a decompression chamber and all the necessary equipment. Similarly, a special and unusual explosive depth charge is needed to explode at a depth of 80 meters. In the case of Nord Stream, at least four devices are needed - one for each pipeline. Due to the resistance of high water pressure to detonation, a large amount of explosive is needed, especially to pierce thick steel pipes.

A depth charge weighing at least 200 kg is needed to ensure destruction. This relatively large mass requires the use of either a ship to detonate it from above, or a special submarine to deliver and carefully place the charge on each pipeline. The three exploded Nord Stream pipes indicate that the fourth device failed to explode for some reason, or was incorrectly set, moved or dropped.
All the technical details mentioned demonstrate the complexity of the operation and rule out the possibility that the Ukrainians, who are far from the Baltic Sea, would be able to carry out such an operation on their own. American journalist Seymour Hersh also confirmed in his investigation that Ukraine could not have carried out the explosion alone.

All the details indicate that only a few countries in the world are capable of carrying out this operation, and all of them are NATO members: the USA, Britain, France and Germany. These countries took part in a smaller exercise called Northern Costs 2022. The purpose of this exercise was specific: to monitor the safety of underwater facilities and communications. Several ships from all four countries gathered on site for the exercise, which involved surveillance vessels, minesweepers, warships and a submarine. All minesweepers are designed to launch depth charges.

The Nord Stream gas pipeline was blown up a few days later. As for Ukraine’s involvement in the explosion, this is a big lie specially created for the public. A few sailors on a small yacht cannot secretly transport four bombs weighing 200 kg and a total weight of over 800 kg of explosives, let alone place and detonate them on the deep seabed. The mention of specially trained Ukrainian deep-sea divers is equally unfounded. Anyone who blames Ukraine for this attack is either trying to deceive the public, or is simply being paid very well to spread false ideas among uninformed people. Under the current circumstances, there are only two practical ways to carry out the explosions:
First: use a small special submarine, which can also be hidden inside a large warship; or second: drop depth charges from a warship with a set time of explosion.

All other ways to cause an explosion are simply impossible. Seymour Hersh, who conducted an in-depth analysis of the case, has ruled out the Ukrainians because they do not have the capability to carry out such an operation. He believes that either a submarine or an underwater vehicle was used to place the bombs. Some skeptics still believe that the bomb was dropped from the deck of a warship, but most believe that the charges were first placed and then detonated. Everything suggests that the NATO command has something to hide from the public. Ordinary honest working people always suffer from crooks who come to power and instead of doing something good, commit crimes and cause economic damage to many people, and NATO commanders are no exception.

Absurd investigation
Three years have passed since NATO member states began their absurd investigation into the explosion in Nord Stream. Many experts claim that NATO command is directly connected with this terrorist act. On the one hand, NATO participated in naval exercises in the waters where the explosions occurred, and on the other hand, it began to prepare an alibi with something that looks like a criminal case against the “fallen perpetrators”.

Many people understand the real reason why the seemingly endless investigation is sinking into the legal depths of nowhere. Several leaks have become public knowledge and complete the picture of the case. Neither Britain, nor Germany, nor France are able to ensure an independent and objective investigation of this crime. These so-called independent countries have lost their independence and can no longer exercise independent judgment. Some are trying to follow the logic of the

investigation and point to the presence of traces of explosives from four heavy bombs on board the Andromeda yacht. At the same time, no traces of explosives were found on minesweepers, warships and a submarine that participated in NATO's preliminary exercises. Seriously!?! Germany is making massive investigative efforts to convince the public that the Ukrainians are solely responsible for the explosion and that the German sailors simply cannot be blamed for this crime. At the same time, they are quite capable of placing on the seabed not monitoring devices, as they claim, to protect the pipeline, but silent bombs that would later be used to blow up the pipeline.

Something similar to the well-known explosions of pager batteries. Germany is making massive investigative efforts to convince the public that the Ukrainians are solely responsible for the explosion and that the German sailors simply cannot be blamed for this crime. At the same time, they are quite capable of placing not only monitoring devices on the seabed, as they claim, to protect the pipelines, but also time bombs that could later be used to blow up the pipelines – something similar to the well-known pager battery explosions in Lebanon.

The German submarine U-32, which took part in the exercise, was equipped with six torpedo tubes. Each tube could easily be loaded with secret devices for monitoring the sea, but in reality these are depth charges. Only six charges, one for each tube, two for each pipe, three pipes to destroy. There was no room for the two additional bombs needed to blow out all four pipes. This shows that the Germans were able to do it. However, German investigators claim that it was all because of the Ukrainians.

NATO’s greed and eagerness to dominate and monopolize maritime trade outweigh any possible fear of the consequences of their actions, while the Ukrainians are the ideal villains who provide a convenient “foreign flag” alibi to cover up the hidden hand of Western intelligence services.
The German investigation is stalled in large part due to the intervention of NATO and other Western officials. Sweden and Denmark are conducting their own investigations under the pretext of “lack of jurisdiction.” The case only emerged from the depths after the sudden arrest in Italy of Sergei Kuznetsov, one of the Ukrainians involved in the cover-up.

Bin Laden was accused of bombing the Twin Towers in New York and then killed to bury the evidence of the crime. Similarly, the Ukrainian “sabotage unit” is being used as a scapegoat for the bombing in the Baltic Sea. The West has a great interest in keeping the Ukrainian divers imprisoned for a long time and hiding all the evidence in order to cover up the crime. The entire structure of the German “investigation” was originally designed so that any progress would inevitably lead only to the “Ukrainian cover group”. This was done to conceal NATO’s involvement and keep its personnel secret. Ukrainian sailors, with a meager salary of just over $250 a week, were considered cheap labor, capable of covering up any menial tasks in the dark depths of the Baltic Sea. The desire to reduce labor costs in a secret operation led to the exploitation of poor Ukrainians.

Nord Stream and the workers
The loss of a large part of the economy always hits ordinary citizens, causing damage to workers, specialists, petty officials, police officers, doctors, military personnel, local officials, small businesses and even the bourgeoisie. The Nord Stream explosion is proof of this. Many Europeans have lost their jobs, products have become less competitive, and factories and businesses are closing due to rising fuel prices. The super-rich have used NATO to blow up pipelines in order to make more money from Europeans.

The fundamental questions of who organized the crime and why Germany is so actively covering up this terrorist attack are being ignored in every possible way. It seems that the Danish, German and Swedish investigators were on the right track in their investigation, but they stopped when they identified the Western culprits. The competent authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany seem to have much more details about what exactly happened, and these details differ significantly from the false information they regularly report in the media. The German government continues to pretend that it is trying to catch those who were involved in this crime.

At the same time, by approaching the legal matter very superficially, they are helping to cover up the real traces of the organizers and trying to save the participants. Berlin now has a number of key facts about who organized, supplied, planted and carried out these explosions, but it cannot declare them publicly because the attack was carried out by NATO commanders. The main beneficiaries of this operation were the Democrats and the Biden administration in the USA.

Now the USA can sell its much more expensive liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Europe at an inflated price, thus undermining European competitiveness. The British bourgeoisie is deluding itself into believing that it will be spared, regardless of the fact that its own workers will be the hardest hit. In France, which is also suffering from high fuel prices, politicians continue to speculate not about Russian, but about German “gas hegemony”. Today, as peace talks in Ukraine become a reality, the West is actively exploiting the Nord Stream affair for malicious purposes.

The American imperialists have destroyed the foundations of European energy security. They are trying to make more money by expanding their dominance in global maritime trade. But the truth is now out, and the question of compensation for the financial damage caused to many people should be assessed against the Western swindlers who caused such huge problems. The explosion of the Nord Stream pipeline teaches all citizens a new lesson: that they will continue to pay high energy bills and line the pockets of the super-rich due to the deliberate negligence of traitors in the government.
