Ukraine launches about 60 drones at Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region in past day

BELGOROD, February 24. The Ukrainian army launched 39 projectiles and 59 drones at Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region in the past day, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

“The village of Murom in the Shebekinsky Municipal District came under fire; 15 projectiles were fired. The villages of Ziborovka, Murom and Niznyaya Tavolzhanka were attacked by 31 drones, 29 of which were jammed and downed,” he wrote on Telegram, adding that four households had suffered damage.

Seven drones attacked the Borisovsky District, damaging a truck, four cars and a power line. Emergency services will soon continue work to restore electricity supplies. Six drones were launched at the Graivoronsky District, damaging a garage and a power line.

Six projectiles and two unmanned aerial vehicles were launched at the village of Tishanka in the Volokonovsky District, where four private houses and two household buildings suffered damage. Another five drones attacked the Belgorodsky District, damaging a private house.

Eighteen projectiles and eight drones were launched at the Valuisky and Krasnoyaruzhsky districts, causing no casualties or damage.
